This project was a short and fun collaboration with a colleague of mine who had been reached out to by Mod/Op films, who was filming a commercial series for Toyota, called Up your Away Game.

What made this project surprising at the time and fun was the added constraint that the director was aiming to recreate the vibe of Electric Forest. They had reached out specifically to my colleague Jon, because he was the creator of "Pulse", an iconic art installation of many years at Electric Forest from 2014 onwards.

Jon brought some parts of Pulse with him, but it was not going to be suspended in the square array it usually was for the commercial, it was going to be spread out over more distance as per request.

So we set out hanging and wiring the tubes with the help of a boom lift, and my main task was to get a TouchDesigner patch together by night time, that we could use to drive the entire array, change colors, patterns, and fill requests from the film team.
